Patrol vessel air conditioning

Our military air conditioning technology maintains designated levels of temperature, air change rate, humidity, fresh air quality and pressure. This way, the crew can do their job in the highest level of comfort – even in the most extreme climates. Designing a well-balanced air conditioning system – while at the same time controlling noise levels – requires specialist knowledge and a thorough investigation of our clients’ needs. With over 50 years of experience in marine air conditioning technology, Heinen & Hopman knows how to assure you of a suitable air conditioning system.

Ammunition cooling

Weapon control and missile guidance systems require cooling in order to function properly. We have developed dedicated military air conditioning systems to provide an optimal environment for ammunition storage and sensor, weapon and commando equipment. Our military air conditioning equipment has a high resistance (MIL S 901 compliant) to shocks to ensure the capacity of the patrol vessel to perform effectively during a combat encounter. Our equipment complies with MIL STD 167 criteria (standard for mechanical vibration of shipboard equipment), MIL 740 (airborne sound measurements and acceptance criteria of shipboard equipment) and MIL STD 461 and 462 (requirements for the control of electromagnetic interference characteristics of shipboard systems and equipment).
