HVAC | American Duchess

American Duchess, created from a 1995 hull, was completely reconstructed for American Queen Steamboat Company to become the first all-suite paddlewheeler on U.S. rivers. LeBlanc & Associates, LLC was awarded the contract to supply the HVAC in January 2017 and the vessel shall be fully operational in June 2017.

American Queen Steamboat Company

The American Queen Steamboat Company offers unique American river cruises on the Mississippi, Ohio Tennessee, Cumberland, Columbia, and Snake Rivers. The company currently has three luxury riverboats: American Empress, American Queen and American Duchess.

A perfect climate onboard

LeBlanc & Associates, LLC has supplied yacht-quality and light-weight air handling units for the American Duchess. The complete HVAC system can be controlled and operated from a single switch box equipped with 17″ LCD screen display. The temperature in every suite can be individually controlled by the passengers. All air handling units are custom-built to fit above the ceiling, allowing available deck space to be utilized for passenger facilities, like restaurants and shops.
