One of our latest delivered projects in the yachting division is the motor yacht ‘Infinity’ (Y710), built in the Netherlands in 2014 by one of the world’s finest yacht builders: Oceanco. Infinity is the superyacht industry’s first delivery in 2015. This custom-built mega yacht is a whopping 89 meters long and it’s run by twin powerful 4,828hp / 3,600kW MTU engines, giving her a top speed of up to 20 knots.
Owing to a cooperation between true experts within the yachting industry, the yacht has been designed and built to the latest industry standards. The naval architecture has been carried out by the Oceanco’s in-house design team and Azure Yacht Design & Naval Architecture. Espen Oeino was responsible for the sophisticated exterior design.
The superyacht can accommodate up to 14 people. The Infinity features a master suite with private exterior deck and spa tub for the yacht owner. Up to 10 guests can be accommodated in six suites, two of which are VIP cabins. There’s a beach club on the lower aft deck as well and a relaxation area on the main deck that features a five-metre circular swimming pool surrounded by seating. This is adjacent to the indoor wellness area on the main deck. On the upper deck, there is an indoor/outdoor al fresco dining room and entertainment lounge, while the skylounge is a private space with an additional spa tub, bar and observation lounge.
The indoor climate
To complement the luxury of the superyacht, sophisticated Heinen & Hopman HVAC&R has been installed. Heinen & Hopman was responsible for the air conditioning, the mechanical ventilation, the hot and cold water system (incl. heat recovery), the grey and black water system and the provision cooling.
All of Infinity’s living quarters and interior spaces are provided with air conditioning, keeping these areas at a comfortable temperature of 21°C year-round. Noise levels are kept low for luxury spaces and bathrooms, allowing guests to enjoy a whisper quiet environment. Additionally, all sanitary spaces are equipped with forced exhaust ventilation. All stores and machinery compartments are provided with forced ventilation and all other areas and tanks are provided with vent pipes or openings for natural ventilation.
True to her name, the possibilities for the exquisite superyacht are endless. She is a go-anywhere yacht that offers safety, comfort, elegance, and the best possible lifestyle afloat.
