Nothing will come between guests and the breathtaking views

Laurentia accommodates up to 12 guests in the full-beam owner’s stateroom, a full-beam VIP suite and four sumptuous guest suites. The 102 square metre sky lounge gives 180-degree views through full-height windows that cover 90 per cent of the vertical surface area. Nothing will come between guests and the breathtaking views they will enjoy when cruising onboard Laurentia.

Cruising in comfort

To ensure passengers and crew can enjoy their trips in the highest level of comfort, Heinen & Hopman was selected to supply the heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration and sanitary systems. A custom-built seawater-cooled chilled water unit built entirely in-house by Heinen & Hopman supplies all required cooling capacity.

Design Conditions

The air conditioning installation was based on the following design conditions:

Outside-Inside Summer

Outside: 35˚C/90% RH or 40˚C/65% RH
Inside: 23˚C/50% RH

Outside-Inside Winter

Outside: 5˚C
Inside: 20˚C

The mechanical ventilation supplies oxygen to equipment in technical spaces and removes transmitted heat from the equipment. The beach club and water scooter storage are also provided with supply ventilation. An exhaust ventilation system has been installed serving the wheelhouse deck, guest area, crew area, owners area, wheelhouse, galley, laundry driers, technical spaces, forepeak, beach club, battery locker, emergency generator room, and bow thruster.
