HVAC | Multibuster 8020

We’re proud to announce that our subsidiary CASP (Carea Air Conditioning Services LLC.) was awarded the contract to design, supply & commission the HVAC&R system for the Damen Multibuster 8020. The Multibuster 8020 is a shallow draft multipurpose vessel, which can serve various markets like offshore, oil & gas, wind & renewables, dredging and marine construction. The vessel can be customized to suit specific client requirements and to support a diverse range of specific tasks, such as towing, anchor handling, cable laying, maintenance & support, bulk handling, ROV & diving and beach pull operations.

Built at Albwardy Damen Shipyards

The vessel will be built at Albwardy Damen Shipyards, Sharjah, a fully integrated shipyard providing ship building, ship repair, and engineering solutions to serve the offshore and marine industry around the world.

Heinen & Hopman HVAC equipment

CASP, a Heinen & Hopman subsidiary in the UAE, was awarded the contract to supply a turnkey HVAC solution for the vessel. The scope of work includes design, engineering, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of the accommodation air conditioning and ventilation system. The system shall be designed with seawater-cooled condensing unit, which will be manufactured and supplied by CASP Dubai and Heinen & Hopman subsidiaries.

The HVAC installation has been designed to maintain the following inside conditions at the stated ambient conditions:

Outside-Inside Summer

Outside: 48˚C/33%RH
inside: 23˚C

Outside-Inside Winter

Outside: -8˚C/100%RH
inside: 23˚C
